This ain't your mama's cabaret! Nope, this raucous, rowdy, interactive show is different every time! Aunt Dottie and her Nephew Aaron have been bringing their unique brand of entertainment to audiences since 2008 and are pleased as punch to be King County 4Culture Touring Artists. Book them for YOUR convention, party, or special event! Aunt Dottie is always the "hostess with the mostess" and, along with Nephew Aaron on the keys, can keep any event lively and unique!

Christmastime is Here, AGAIN!

Oh my lovelies! It's been a long time since I've had a chance to type in here! But, it doesn't mean I don't love you ALL! We have been busy this year! Renton River Days parade in July! The Renton History Museum gala in October and Nephew Aaron's family grew by one beautiful boy, Micah this past February! We are gearing up for our last show of 2018. Our Christmas extravaganza!

Renton Historical Society

Last night was the Renton Historical Society's gala "History Making Event". It was a grand night out at the Renton Senior Center on the shores of the Cedar River, supporting the brilliant work and positive impact the Renton History Museum makes in our community. Nephew Aaron and I were honored to host the event and so glad to see so much wonderful support for this gem in our community! I wore my high-heeled tennis shoes when I found out they were having a dessert dash but, found out I didn't need them, after all. A dessert dash is much more civilized than I expected! Congratulations to all the raffle winners, the silent auction winners and the live auction winners! They got some amazing things AND helped a great cause. Special thanks to those of you who "raised the paddle" to support the RHS with a generous cash donation. It is folks like you who are making a difference and ensuring that history is preserved and shared in our community! Love, Aunt Dottie

SEVEN YEARS OF PEACE, LOVE AND ROCK N' ROLL

Please join us in a new venue: DELANCEY'S ON THIRD! We're still in beautiful downtown Renton, just a little further EAST down 3rd from Renton Civic Theatre. In this new venue, our audience can sit at tables AND food and drinks are available to purchase! We're so excited.

SAVE THE DATE TO SEE US IN A NEW VENUE

We are thrilled to announce that we are going to be performing at a new venue in November and December. We are eternally grateful to Renton Civic Theatre for all their years of support but, as they say, "The only thing constant in life is change" and change is happening to our show.

Our new venue for our 7th Anniversary Show and Christmas Show will be DeLancey's on 3rd in downtown Renton. DeLancey's is a banquet/event room with a full bar and FOOD! You can have dinner while you see our show!! We are so excited about this!!

The times are TBD (but will be around the dinner hour!)

Summer Time, fun time!

I love summer because it brings RENTON RIVER DAYS! I will be in the parade again this year -although Nephew Aaron will not. He'll be on vacation with his lovely wife and new baby! But, I will be there, singing and dancing and loving on all of the folks in Renton!

The parade is July 26, 2014 at 10 am, along 3rd Ave in Downtown Renton! I'll see you there!!

The Power of a Dream

Dreams are wonderful. But, when you are also WORKING your dream, they are powerful!

Our Renton-based Seahawks proved that and Bruno Mars proved that during the Superbowl!!

I thought Bruno Mars was simply amazing in the Superbowl Halftime show. Here's a video of him as a 6 year old Elvis impersonator. Towards the end, he says he wants to "be like Elvis". Well, if he meant entertaining millions of folks with talent and skill, then his dream is being achieved!

Another Milestone!

I like to mark MILESTONES! On this VERY date in 2008, Nephew Aaron and I performed our VERY FIRST show together. There were 18 WONDERFUL people in the audience! We've been going strong ever since!

Happy Anniversary

On THIS day in 2008, Nephew Aaron and I began REHEARSING our show that would become Aunt Dottie's Sing-along Cabaret. We sang through TONS of music in that first rehearsal -and threw MOST of it out! It was Broadway stuff, the stuff I'd been singing on the cruise ships and I wanted something NEW. So . . . we switched to the music we love: ROCK N' ROLL (with a whole lot of peace and love thrown in!)
