. . . grew up traveling the United States with her mother (who was a performer in the Queensborough Family Circus). Though she did perform with the clowns once in a while; Dottie soon realized she wasn't destined to follow in her mother's footsteps. So, she set her sights on cruise ships and until recently was performing her cabaret on the high seas.
However, in 2008 she found herself on dry land, due to her current husband, Leonard's, chronic sea-sickness. But she couldn't stop singing! (And, she's still paying alimony for all of those previous husbands!) So, she moved to Renton, WA and now brings her act to the folks in the Pacific NW (and beyond!)
NEPHEW AARON . . .
. . . has been performing professionally since he was 15. He began piano lessons at the age of four, and continued this education through college, where he graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelors of Arts in Piano Performance and Theory. Aaron paid for college by working for local musical theatre companies and playing keys every weekend at Nordstrom.
This charming, charismatic performer is fluent in many different musical styles and is continually adding to his repertoire. He is also fluent on other instruments including the guitar, bass, and drums. Aaron started playing with his Aunt Dottie in late 2008. When he’s not playing with his Auntie, this in-demand and tireless musician can be found performing at one Keys on Main -Seattle and Salt Lake City; with local bands; and at private parties and events.
