Spring Has Sprung!

What a beautiful Spring it is! We hope you are doing very well! We loved having everyone at our shows at Delancey's last year and are looking forward to some private events this year!! Which reminds me, we looooooove doing private events!! If you ever want to book us, just email me at auntdottie.com!!! Or, if you want to bring us to your venue, we'd love that, too. Thank you to ALL the fine folks who joined us last night at our show! We had tons of fun! There were special guests and babies and lots of peace, love and rock n' roll. We enjoyed the new venue. Food and a full bar PLUS peace, love and rock n' roll! Awesome!!

We are thrilled to announce that we are going to be performing at a new venue in November and December. We are eternally grateful to Renton Civic Theatre for all their years of support but, as they say, "The only thing constant in life is change" and change is happening to our show.

Our new venue for our 7th Anniversary Show and Christmas Show will be DeLancey's on 3rd in downtown Renton. DeLancey's is a banquet/event room with a full bar and FOOD! You can have dinner while you see our show!! We are so excited about this!!

The times are TBD (but will be around the dinner hour!)

TIME FLIES!

Time flies when you're having fun! For those of you who follow me on Facebook you already know that Nephew Aaron and I are getting ready for our 6th Anniversary Show at Renton Civic Theatre!

Which means, that 6 years ago, I had just left the cruise ships and was just getting used to living on dry land!

I'm still amazed that Leonard and I have been married so long, but, perhaps it is because he isn't a showbiz fella and we're not fighting for mirror space or stage time!

A lot has happened in 6 years! Nephew Aaron has gotten married AND he and his wife, Niece Rachel welcomed their dear sweet baby into the world this past January. We've performed so many places and still look forward to coming back to "home base" at Renton Civic!

Summer Time, fun time!

I love summer because it brings RENTON RIVER DAYS! I will be in the parade again this year -although Nephew Aaron will not. He'll be on vacation with his lovely wife and new baby! But, I will be there, singing and dancing and loving on all of the folks in Renton!

The parade is July 26, 2014 at 10 am, along 3rd Ave in Downtown Renton! I'll see you there!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!

Hey, if we cannot celebrate ourselves, who can we celebrate? I'm so grateful to my parents! So happy I was born! Life is grand!

To celebrate "Aunt Dottie Month" we will hit the stage at Renton Civic Theatre on May 18th!! 2:00 pm! Tickets at the door!!

Love Means . . .

I love everybody. Honestly.

But, I don't always love their behavior.

That's the tricky part of love. Loving the person, loving their human-ness but not loving some of things they do.

I've found in my life that sometimes I have to remove myself from a person or a situation they've created.

I do it with love. Saying, "I love you but I cannot tolerate this behavior so I have to stay away from you right now."

It's as easy -and as difficult- as that.

But, sometimes in order to LOVE YOURSELF it is necessary.

Another Milestone!

I like to mark MILESTONES! On this VERY date in 2008, Nephew Aaron and I performed our VERY FIRST show together. There were 18 WONDERFUL people in the audience! We've been going strong ever since!

We are SO grateful for all the wonderful folks who've joined us over the years!
