EIGHT DAYS A WEEK

Don't you just WISH there were eight days in a week? Would you make it a weekend/play day? Or a weekday/work day? Why not both. I've decided to shake things up and create goals/purposes for each day of the week. Here are my ideas. You're free to use them, too!
MAKE SOMETHING MONDAY
A day to make something: dinner, cookies, a painting, a drawing, a journal post, a lanyard out of plastic lace -anything! It will be the day set aside to MAKE something. To create!
TRY-IT TUESDAY
This will be the day to try something new. Something I've always wanted to try or start. What's on that list for you? What would you like to just TRY? It could be anything: a new route to work or the store; a new song on your guitar; a new food . . . .
WORK IT OUT WEDNESDAY
This will be the day to make amends. To think about what isn't working in life/work/relationships and take steps to make amends. Sometimes it just means a shift in how you think about something.
THANKFUL THURSDAY
This will be the day to EXPRESS gratitude to everyone I love and for everything I have.
FRIEND FRIDAY
This will be the day to reach out to a friend I have seen in a while. A handwritten note or a phone call will make this day complete.
SORT-IT OUT SATURDAY
This will be the day to clear out the clutter of my life. Clean up that messy junk drawer or tackle a corner of the garage.
SPIRITUAL SUNDAY
This will continue to be the day I go to church!

ITS TUESDAY!

ANYONE CAN PLAY!
The clowns in the traveling circus that my Mama performed with used to have a game they'd play. They called it: ITS TUESDAY. If anyone said the word, "TUESDAY", they'd over-react to that statement with some type of dramatic emotion. Laughing. Crying. Getting angry. It was very silly and  lots of fun if you were "in" on the game. But, if you weren't, it made you feel left out. No one likes feeling left out. If you're feeling "left out" about a situation, how do you react? Laughing? Crying? Getting Angry? Next time you feel like that; maybe you could try something radically different and try to INCLUDE someone in the "game" you're playing. That just might make you feel better AND it will shift your focus away from the people who are excluding you. Nephew Aaron & I hope you ALWAYS feel included at our show. IF you  EVER feel left out at our show, please let us know, because it is important to us that EVERYONE is "in" on the fun!! Sending you lots of peace today, my friends! ~Aunt Dottie
