SOMETHING'S COMING!

What I WANT isn't always what I NEED.


John Lennon sang, “Life is just what happens to you/While you’re busy making other plans. . . “ So true, isn’t it? I’m reminded of those words as they run through my head when something I wanted doesn’t HAPPEN! For example, this is the THIRD year in a row that I’ve applied for Nephew Aaron and I to perform at Bumbershoot; this is the THIRD year in a row we haven’t been selected. I know it isn’t about US; it is about THEM and what they need for their line-up. What they think will sell for their crowds and I respect that. It is something I wanted but; I believe that always when something I want doesn’t happen –well, something even MORE amazing is just around the corner! So, I wish the folks at Bumbershoot well! I know that they will have a wonderful festival and I’m VERY excited because I know something even BETTER is just around the corner for us!! Sending you peace today, friends!! ~Aunt Dottie
