LIFE LESSONS

I love to learn new things; as any regular reader of mine will know. I believe there’s always a chance to learn something. I love, love, LOVE going to movies and I was just thinking the other day that the movies that stick with me the most are the movies from which learned some important life lessons! See if you can guess the movies I’m talking about BEFORE you click on the links that tell you what they are!!

I learned to see the magic in the everyday from a very proper British Nanny.

I learned to live life to the fullest from a very determined old lady.

I learned courage from a lion; love from a tin man; wisdom from a scarecrow and determination from a little girl from Kansas.

I learned perseverance and the ability to get along with just about anyone from a man in search of something beloved to him.

I learned to be goofy and silly and enjoy life from a quartet of boys just trying to be themselves in a world that’s crazy all around them.

I learned friendship from an alien.

Oh, I could go on and on. What are some of your favorite movies? Why? How did they inspire or teach you? I hope you all have an enlightening day!! Love, Aunt Dottie
