This ain't your mama's cabaret! Nope, this raucous, rowdy, interactive show is different every time! Aunt Dottie and her Nephew Aaron have been bringing their unique brand of entertainment to audiences since 2008 and are pleased as punch to be King County 4Culture Touring Artists. Book them for YOUR convention, party, or special event! Aunt Dottie is always the "hostess with the mostess" and, along with Nephew Aaron on the keys, can keep any event lively and unique!

Check out their calendar to find dates/locations of their stage show so you can join the fun as they put their own spin on pop, rock, standards and just about any other genre of music your heart desires!!

Mother & Child Reunion

Here's a photo from Mother's Day
2013. Such fun!
We have to give TREMENDOUS thanks to our amazing fans and Renton Civic Theatre for participating in our 5th Annual Mother's Day show!
We had some fun honoring the moms! We even had some tap-dancing mommas in the show! And, Nephew Aaron's ukelele skills were featured on the stage for the FIRST time ever.
We always try to bring something new, fun and different each time. The best part is, we were able to raise some money to give to Vision House to help homeless families! THANK YOU!!

IN MY LIFE

If I feel like I missed out on an experience when I was a child, well, I just go after it NOW. It's never too late (for most things). I learned to dance when I was a child but, I learned from all the circus performers and we never had a dance recital. So, today, I'm going to dance in my 3rd dance recital of my life! All these recitals have occurred within the past few years! I love the folks at Rainier Ballet Academy and in addition to tapping with my class, I get to hostess the recital! I love my life! In my life, there are very few limitations!!

SUNSHINE, LOLLIPOPS & RAINBOWS

Recently, I was in my FIRST dance recital! Oh, I danced when I was a child but was never in one town long enough to participate in the year-end recital. I always WANTED to be in the recital, though.
I've been taking adult tap classes at the Rainier Ballet Academy for a full year and I got to be in recital in June! It was so exciting and all I hoped it would be.
If there's something YOU'VE always wanted to do then GO for it! It is so satisfying!

FRIDAY FUN

When I was new to  TWITTER  my Nephew Aaron had to teach me that #FF translated to "Follow Friday". But, before he told me, I thought it meant "Friday Fun". Hee hee! I'm glad I asked him, though, so I could know what everyone was talking about. I just love learning new things! When I was performing (and living) on cruise ships I wasn't really aware of the internet or Twitter or Facebook but now I know and I'm learning more each day! I love learning new things! Don't you? Since I've settled on dry land, I've taken classes in: driving, cooking, tap dancing and social media. What did you learn this past week? I'd love to know! ~Aunt Dottie
