LIFE IS WHAT HAPPENS
John Lennon sang, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans." How true! How true! But, ain't life grand? Isn't it just an amazing, wonderful adventure?? I wouldn't have it any other way. Though, it's true that some of that "life" doesn't FEEL good in the moment! I've said this before, though, I believe that the difficult moments -the hard moments- make us stronger and develop our character. If you're in a heavy stage of "character development" then rest assured that if you make some other plans . . . well, some LIFE will happen and it might just be BETTER than those plans you've made!! All this life stuff is really just an improvisation and the key rule of improvisation is saying, "YES, and . . ." You can do it friends! Go on out there and make your plans and see what kind of life happens!!

YOUR MAMA DON'T DANCE . . .

Nephew Aaron is teaching me how to play. He said, "Aunt Dottie, remember to 'hit' on beat two and four in the measure." I love my Nephew for helping me out. We all need a little help from time to time keeping in the rhythm of life!

HEART OF LIFE
Today, this John Mayer song popped up randomly on my iPod (wonderful, wonderful invention) and the chorus won’t leave my head:
Pain throws your heart to the ground
Love turns the whole thing around
No it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good
Love turns the whole thing around
No it won't all go the way it should
But I know the heart of life is good
Sometimes a song perfectly expresses what I’m thinking. . . The heart of life IS good, my friends.
